This is an absolutely not true. Many women would rather receive something from your heart and a gift that shows them that you know who they are and what they like.

Many people love to give flowers or plants as gifts. This can be an absolute favorite. Gourmet chocolate is another great idea. Just about everyone loves chocolate.. although my lady hates chocolate. I think she is an exception.

You can buy a small box with a few pieces of great tasting chocolate. Pay attention to your lady's preferences. She may like milk chocolate, dark chocolate or even white chocolate.

Another thoughtful gift is music. Pay attention to what kind of music she likes and maybe get her the newest CD that she can listen to on her way to work.
